Congragulations on choosing of the Roland Wave Expansion Board SRX Series.
The information contained on this CD-ROM applies to the SRX-06--09.
This CD-ROM contains the following four kinds of data.
The SRX-06--09 boards utilize a new format. If your instrument is still running an older version of the system program, one that is not compatible with this new format, you will need to update the system software.
Check the update process for the relevant instrument, then proceed to update your system software.
Contained here is data (in SMF format) that reproduces the original Patches and Rhythm Sets used in the SR-JV80 titles. This corresponds to the SRX titles, and the complete collection of waveforms from the SR-JV80 titles that they include.
Nine demo songs, SRX-01--09, are recorded here as wav files. Use your player to play back these demos.
By changing the pitch, you can change the BPM (tempo).
The BPM used when sampling the original (Original BPM) is reproduced
by the C4 key when both "c.t." (Coarse Tune) and "f.t."
(Fine Tune) are at "0."
If you want to obtain twice the tempo of the original BPM, either
play the C5 key (key one octave above), or set "c.t."(Coarse
Tune) to +12 and play the C4 key.
For specifics, refer to the separate BPM Conversion Table.
